Four. They are Standard, Transitional, Eternal & Manager. Standard membership are reserved for living persons. Transitional membership are reserved for people that are in their twilight years or are near the end of their lives due to terminal illness or severe accident. Eternal membership is reserved for the departed(deceased). Manager are reserved for a live person or a legal entity that's been designated by other members to manage their accounts.
After opening an account by registering, click on Members tab in the header. Type in the name of the person you're looking for in the search bar. Usually, the deceased(Eternal account) will displayed their full names. However, living members(Standard account) can use a nickname instead of their real name to be associated with their account. So if you know that member's nickname then you can look it up that way. If you don't know their nicknames, ask the member to send you a link to their account.
Yes. When members set up their account, under Account, Visibility and privacy, member can choose between public and private. This is for member search only. Under Profile, Details section and Profile Visibility, they can choose the profile(Epitagh) to be public or private. The difference between Account & Profile is Account visibility only allows other members to locate your account in member search while Profile visibility allows others to view their actual profile(Epitagh page).
After a member set up their account and profile. An Epitagh sub page becomes available. In the middle is their grave stone, to the left is the Homage tab, to the right is the Tribute tab. Click on those tab and follow the instruction and you will be able to complete those functions. Virtual gift can be purchased by clicking Order tab in the header and locate underneath the real gifts.
After a member set up their account and profile, their Epitagh subpage will display information on their burial site, name of cemetery and remembrance day information. If the member is a Standard member(living) then he/she will let others know that the location is chosen and all proceeds will be for the purpose of securing required items for that burial. Items such as a lot, a gasket, type of memorial if it's religious....etc. If the member is an Eternal member(deceased), then those info serve as a reminder for the family and friends to plan for the gathering day and know the location where the event going to be.
There are two ways to plan for one's own funeral. First method is by ordering our service. Click on the Order tab in the header, go the bottom, find Custom Burial Planning Service and fill out the order form. We will find the funeral home and cemetery that's the best match for your preference and budget. Second method is do it yourself (DIY). Even though you will do most of the ground work yourself; rest assure that your profile will reflect the location of the cemetery or funeral home, whether they're only tentative or settled purchases. That way it's clear to your family, friends and associates that you have made the decision of your final resting place so that they can show respect by making tributes to your account.
There are three main purposes to this website. First, it allows people to pre-plan for their funerals and let others know their preference such as grave site, type of burial and other detail that goes with the memorial so that their relatives and friends can engage and support their decisions. Second, it serves as a virtual grave to the member that had passed so that people are able to come to show respect, send gift and pay tribute to their loved ones at anytime instead of going to the physical grave site if it's not convenient to do so. Third, families and friends can connect with each other to remember their loved ones, share their memory and provide outreach to any surviving spouse and children.
